No Rip-offs

I will not use rip-off schemes to sell products. Some card games artificially designate certain cards as "rare" then make you buy packs of random cards in hopes of eventually getting those rares. I'd rather focus on making interesting games, instead.

No Chaff

Many card games are filled with intentionally awful cards so their makers have more things to sell you. This trash makes those games impenetrable to beginners, a hassle for experts, and generally clutters up their designs--all for the sake of ripping you off. There's nothing extra in my games, only what's actually needed.

Asymmetric Gameplay

It's boring when every player starts with the same set of moves. All my games are asymmetric, meaning you can choose from 10 characters, each with a different set of moves and powers. This lets players find a playstyle they like (defensive, offensive, tricky, fast, etc.). It also means every game has 45 matchups to explore (in 2-player games), adding lots of replay value.

Play Right Away

You can buy any of my games and play right away using a deck that's "tournament-strength" right out of the box. You don't have to play with underpowered cards when you're new.

Balanced for Experts

I take game balance seriously. The balance and rules of all my games are intended to stand up to high-level tournament play.

Beginner Friendly

My games are as simple as I can make them without sacrificing depth. I empathize with the beginners and do my best to make games anyone can learn.

An Alternative to The Man

I would like to make games that have the kind of fun we already know works, but that aren't crippled with the baggage we always see. Enough with the rip-off schemes of "rare" cards, of making people grind to unlock basic functionality in a multiplayer game, of artificially high dexterity requirements at the expense of strategy, of games that promote "time = entitlement," and so on.

Help me do things differently. Support me in making straightforwardly good games that avoid all these pitfalls and that try to get to the core of the fun, while promoting both variety and balance in gameplay. With enough of your support, there will be more card games, and maybe we can even make a fighting game. Wouldn't that be exciting?

Thanks for playing,
