The Fairview City Expansion is Available Now for Pre-Order!
The Fairview City expansion adds 14 location cards that change up the rules of a Yomi match. They might add special effects (like being able to Exchange special moves) or add special Attacks or Abilities to your deck. It’s a way to spice up the gameplay a bit and introduce some wild new strategies.
It also has rules for a 2 vs 2 tag team mode so you can play Yomi 2 with up to 4 players!
Fairview City requires either the Starter set (Bashing vs. Finesse) or Base set (Road to Morningstar), both available now at the Sirlin Games store.
What is Yomi 2?
Yomi 2 is the sequel to Yomi, our original 2009 “fighting-card-game”. It captures the essence of old-school arcade fighting games like Street Fighter, where two players select characters and battle it out in pseudo real-time with a unique “rock paper scissors” combat system. It was pretty popular; we had both physical and online versions, held a ton of live and online tournaments, and fostered a thriving community on our old forums and now, our official Discord server.
Yomi 2 is not “a new edition” but rather an entirely new game. Now there are high and low attacks, high and low blocks, projectiles, bursts, and many other changes. Despite all those new things, the game is actually more streamlined and plays faster than before.
