Yomi 2 Coming to Consoles

Hey there Yomi fans! We have a big announcement for you today.

On May 13th, we're at long last bringing Yomi 2 to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5 and Xbox consoles!

In this "fighting card game" by ex-Street Fighter designer (and tournament competitor!) David Sirlin, you'll pick from a cast of 20 colorful fighters and go head-to-head in cerebral card-based combat. Unlike most online card games, Yomi 2 is not a collectible card game; selecting a character grants you a full-powered fixed deck with innate strengths and weaknesses. Learn your character, practice your combos, and deliver crushing counters to KO your opponents, just like you would in a real-time arcade fighting game.

Check out Yomi 2's extensive single player Career mode; battle against quirky AI opponents in card shops around Fairview City! Compete in Yomi tournaments, build rivalries and gain a following to prove your prowess!

Yomi 2 also features online asynchronous play; you don't need to be online at the same time as your opponent. Like play-by-mail games, async games give you the flexibility of playing multiple games in parallel, at your own pace, without needing to schedule things as tightly as for a live online game.

We're also happy to announce that at launch, Yomi 2 will have cross-platform online matchmaking between all consoles and the PC version, so no matter which platform you choose, you'll be able to challenge anyone!

Be sure to join our community Discord server to talk strategy with other players, join online leagues, and keep up to date on all things Yomi. We hope to see you on the server and in the dojo!
